Filmhub, founded in 2016 by Klaus Badelt and Alan d’Escragnolle, is a global sales and distribution company for film and television. We’re backed by investors like a16z and 8VC. We offer worldwide full-service film and TV distribution. Using market insight and AI-led technology, we help films and shows reach more audiences and earn more money globally.

We work with producers, distributors, and buyers. We help both new and established filmmakers find opportunities and assist distributors in expanding their reach with new releases and back catalogs. For over 100 of the world’s biggest exhibitors, we are a preferred vendor thanks to our large catalog, fast delivery, and technology. Our specialties include Video-on-Demand (VOD) Distribution, Content Aggregation, and Film & TV Distribution.

We have relationships with thousands of producers and distribution partners for theatrical, digital streaming, broadcast, Pay TV, and physical media rights. We handle all assets, localization, encoding, and delivery ourselves. We’re always finding new ways to increase transparency and revenue for clients, such as building an in-house technology team, creating an online dashboard, paying filmmakers instantly, and providing full reports. We review submissions of finished movies and shows, maintaining a large catalog that covers all genres, formats, and budgets.

This means increasing transparency, finding new revenue streams, and improving the distribution experience for our clients. We use our experience to sell films and add value while protecting our clients’ creative vision.

Filmhub operates with a remote-first workforce, with employees collaborating across over 10 countries. We have between 11-50 employees.
