Summary
The job is for a Junior Java Developer at European Dynamics in Athens. The candidate will design, develop, test, and maintain JEE based applications, collaborate with colleagues, provide technical documentation, support deployment and configuration phases, front and back end coding, and offer support during the production phase.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Java and enthusiasm for programming
Responsibilities
- Design, development and testing of components of complex web-based Java applications
- Collaborating passionately with colleagues, adhering to high professional standards and ensuring the delivery of quality software
- Provision of technical documentation
- Support during deployment and configuration phases
- Provision of support during the production phase
- Front and back end coding
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and Experience in some of the following technologies is considered an asset: Java Enterprise Edition (JEE), EJB, JPA, Maven, JSF, AngularJS, JavaScript, XML/XSD, Web Services
- Knowledge and Experience in Database Programming (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
