Job description
This role requires real life development experience and knowledge in Java technologies from architecture through to actual development, deployment, tuning and maintenance. You will need to be able to support other members of the team in preparing project specific approaches, architecture and strategies, work with clients and ensure the solution exceeds the clients requirements. You will also make sure that OLR is well informed in regard to industry best methodology. The role will require working closely with client teams and as such tact, presentation and workshop delivery skills are essential.

Your real passion for developing, knowledge of specific tools and approaches is mixed with excellence in delivery. You will ensure that you are able to help OLR develop systems, tools and techniques and approaches that maximise effective efficient delivery without compromising on quality.

You will be well versed in Agile working but equally agreeable with the governance and management approaches favoured by the large international businesses that make up the OLR client base.
Previous Java development experience
Previous hands-on development experience of the Spring Framework
Agile mindset and breathe Scrum, TDD and Continuous Delivery
Excellent analysis skills
Strong and clear communication and presentation skills
Self motivated and enthusiastic
Able to work closely in pairs
Good at communicating both ideas and concepts and quick to grasp them as well
Highly motivated individuals who can be trusted to carry out highly technical and complex tasks
