Junior Software Engineer

We’re seeking a curious, early-career software developer to join our Enterprise Tools team.

In this role, you’ll help design, build and maintain the internal and customer-facing tools driving infrastructure operations, security and observability. You’ll write production-quality code, participate in code reviews, and turn real-world pain points into elegant software solutions. What you will learn:

  • Software engineering principles, architectures and best practices through real experience.
  • Building and maintaining full-stack applications in greenfield and production contexts.
  • Prototyping ideas and projects to find product-market fit
  • How to effectively participate in peer-reviewing code to ensure it is technically accurate and up to the standard held.

Requirements:

  • Experience in developing effective and scalable code in Python, ideally using Django.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript and front-end development principles.
  • Familiarity with API integration and working with third-party services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Around 2 years of experience in a backend development role.

Additional Skills and experience that will be useful:

  • Ability to apply user interface/user experience (UI/UX) design concepts.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases.
