Summary
The job is for a Kubernetes Engineer working remotely but based in Dallas, TX. The candidate will implement an enterprise-wide container platform and evaluate new cloud container solutions. They should have extensive private cloud and OpenShift experience, knowledge of containers and container management technologies, and experience with CI/CD toolchain products.
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
- Four or more years of relevant work experience
- Experience implementing/supporting Kubernetes
- Knowledge of containers and container management technologies; Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD toolchain products like Jira, STASH, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Jenkins
- Experience in systems concepts, system administration, and cloud platforms
Responsibilities
- Implement an enterprise-wide container platform
- Automate Cloud adoption to containers platform
- Program and orchestrate the deployment of feature sets into the EKS platform
- Evaluate new Cloud container Solutions to determine value within IT
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large containerized computing environments utilizing Kubernetes with Docker containers for a large IT enterprise wide environment
- Knowledge of architecting and engineering large enterprise solutions to achieve cost efficiencies, scaling, and availability for a large enterprise environment
