What We’re Looking for
As a Lead Product Manager, you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from setting the product vision, strategy, and executing on it with minimal oversight. Skilled at leading cross-functional teams to design, launch, and refine high-impact features for banks, fintechs, and operational teams – with a strong track record of measurable results.

This role is specifically for a Lead Product Manager to manage our Risk and Compliance features, including related vendor integrations. You will be working closely with engineering, design, risk operations, and compliance officers to ensure we cater to the needs of all stakeholders, including Bank, Fintech, and Synctera Operations team. You will also be working closely with other Product managers in the team to specifically understand the needs of different Fintech use cases and Payment rails to meet their Risk and Compliance needs.
What You’ll Do
- Think at a high level about product strategy and vision, and how we measure success
- Ensure that appropriate background research is done to explain the ‘Why’ behind each feature
- Document the ‘What’ clearly, keeping in mind all the internal and external user personas, and review with stakeholders across teams
- Understand the technical implementation by working directly with the engineering team–dig in and ask questions, and understand the full impact of technology changes
- Create visual designs and help them get it tested by putting them in front of users
- Ensure that the metrics to measure the success of each feature are clearly documented, instrumented, and measured after launch to see the impact
- Stay on top of customer feedback by monitoring feedback channels
- Own the final product, content, design, and communication that goes to customers
- Make executive decisions on the development team’s priorities to deliver projects with the highest impact
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of solid Product Management experience bringing B2B SaaS products to market and seeing them through many iterations
- Experience working with banking and financial services, preferably in Risk, Compliance, KYC, KYB, sanctions screening, Fraud and AML monitoring
- AI/ML & Agentic Systems for Compliance: Led initiatives using machine learning models, LLM-powered assistants, and agentic automation to reduce false positives in fraud detection, accelerate KYC verification, and provide explainable compliance decisions to regulators and partners
- Strong analysis skills; you are superb at breaking down complicated problems into logical steps without getting bogged down by the details
- Strong data-driven approach in decision-making (via KPIs and metrics)
- Experienced in executing go-to-market strategies and launching new products
- Solid technical background; experience working on systems that process imperfect data
- Ability to design and navigate through conflicting priorities, turning ambiguity into clarity in a fast-changing environment
- Understand the methodology behind creating amazing user workflows
- Superb communication skills (we emphasize team collaboration); can convey technical concepts to non-technical people as well as turn non-technical requirements into technical specifications
- Ability to think through problems and develop solutions quickly as a phenomenal problem solver
- Results-oriented; someone who knows how to get the job done regardless of circumstance
- Team player who loves to collaborate and bounce ideas off others; you understand that giving/receiving feedback is crucial in your development and growth
Nice to Have
- Understanding of banking, payments, and related Risk & Compliance is preferred
- Ability to lead design workshops and a good eye for UI/UX design
- Knowledge of Vendor Evaluation, Due Diligence, and contracting is helpful
- Experience with U.S. banking regulations and banking processes
- Experience working within a startup environment

The base salary for this full-time position (USD: $160,000 - $210,000 CAD: $130,000 - $200,000) is determined by role, level, and location. The range informed in this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US and Canadian locations. Within the range, individual pay will be determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, relevant training, and other factors.
