The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid, 10-week experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers meaningful work experience at non-profits all over the country tackling some of our nation’s most pressing challenges. Throughout your internship with a partner organization, Stand Together Fellowships hosts virtual professional development sessions every Thursday from 1-5 pm ET, wherein you will be mentored by seasoned professionals as you craft a capstone project on the topic that matters most to you.  Interns will receive either a $5,500 or $3,300 stipend from Stand Together Fellowships depending on whether they are participating full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (28 hours/week).

Successful candidates will interview with both our non-profit partner organizations and Stand Together Fellowships staff, so we strongly encourage you to apply in advance!

The Learning Center is the curriculum and educator-focused branch of FEE’s mission. Our team is full of experienced economics teachers who are passionate about education. We’re looking for an intern with a mind for economics/personal finance/civics and the heart of a teacher who’s excited about promoting free-market economics, civics, and personal finance curriculum for middle and high school. An ideal candidate will complete the internship with a greater understanding of how to create quality curriculum and communicate sound free-market principles to U.S teachers, and competency in the behind-the-scenes of nonprofit team administration.

About the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE): The Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the economic, ethical, and legal principles of a free society. For over 75 years, FEE has been committed to inspiring and educating individuals on the values of personal freedom, entrepreneurship, and sound economic thinking. Through various programs, publications, and events, FEE empowers individuals to understand the economic principles that drive prosperity and fosters a society rooted in individual rights and limited government.

About FEE’s Learning Center Team: The Learning Center is the way we reach high school students through their teachers. Just in 2024, the Learning Center team has conducted over 150 sessions of professional development for over 3,000 teachers. Working with teachers allows us to engage in economies of scale as each teacher we work with reaches over 100 students each school year. We have established an educator community of 10,000+ teachers over the last three years. In addition to providing professional development, we create and launch a new classroom curriculum resource every day of the school year, ensuring teachers have free market friendly materials to use with their students. Our team consists of Director of Education Derek D’Angelo, Curriculum Development Manager Joel Miller, Curriculum Development Officer James Redelsheimer, and Learning Center Associate Hannah Langdon.
