RIA and IAR Professionals- Transition into M&A Advisor Role

Job Type: Full-Time/ Independent Contractor/ Flexible. This role can be structured as a full-time position or as an Independent Contractor engagement, depending on the candidate’s availability and goals.
Position Location: Remote digital office (work from home), must be U.S. based. This role is designed to offer flexibility and can be pursued adjunctly to an existing position. It is well suited for experienced professionals who are looking to expand their impact, engage in strategic work, and earn additional performance-based compensation without stepping away from their current practice or responsibilities.
Compensation: Commission-based position with uncapped investment banking bonuses. Average OTE $200,000.00-$450,000.00+ per year, based on individual performance and deal closes.

We are now hiring experienced RIA and IAR professionals who want to leverage their advisory backgrounds in a strategic, deal-oriented environment. This is not an asset management or product sales role. It is a client-facing opportunity to work directly with business owners and PE firms, guiding strategic transitions, growth events, and exits.
The Opportunity:
At Bainbridge, we partner with private equity groups to help business owners explore and execute strategic transactions. We are not an advisory platform. We do not manage assets or offer wealth management services. Our team works at the intersection of strategy and owner transition, guiding business owners through one of the most important decisions of their careers.
We are looking for seasoned Investment Advisors Representatives and RIA principles who want to take their industry insight to the next level by helping business owners grow, transition, merge, or sell. This is a role for professionals who know how to navigate complex conversations and guide clients through high impact decisions with clarity and confidence. You understand how advisory firms operate. We bring the deal-making expertise, capital network, and strategic infrastructure. Together, we help private equity firms and business owners make smarter decisions in one of the most dynamic verticals in finance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the M&A deal process from initial outreach to deal closure, with an emphasis on qualitative data, analysis, and relationship building.
- Conduct outreach to prospective acquisition clients utilizing omni-channel marketing system.
- Ensure timely communication and updates with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough due diligence including a solid understanding of EBITDA and company valuations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating a keen understanding of their industries, needs and objectives.
- Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) related to deal flow, client engagement, and revenue generation to ensure individual and team success.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to facilitate deal execution and integrate insights from various industry sectors.
- Maintain and manage CRM systems to track deal flow, client interactions, and performance metrics.
- Minimal travel may be required for conference attendance, client meetings and company events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field. MBA is a plus.
- 5 years minimum experience as a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), Investment Advisor Representative (IAR), or a client-facing financial advisory role.
- Series 65 and/or appropriate FINRA licensing active and in good standing.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with business owners, executives, or high-net-worth individuals.
- Strong communication and consultative sales skills confident leading a complex strategic conversations.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and manage a relationship pipeline.
