Summary

Join a dynamic team at General Assembly to develop partnerships with corporate clients, startups, and government agencies for graduates placements and collaborations. As a key member of the Outcomes team, you will manage local teams, ensure quality through NPS execution and follow-up, prioritize business needs for digital products, and onboard new team members.

Responsibilities

  • Develop partnerships with corporate clients, startups, international and local organizations for graduates placements and collaborations
  • Manage local Outcomes teams
  • Ensure quality through managing NPS execution and follow up
  • Prioritize business needs for Outcomes digital products and actively build new products that allow for better quality and efficiency
  • Onboard new team members
  • Data excellence: oversee team data by conducting audits so we are audit ready at any point
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot areas of difficulties with markets that are blocking them from achieving goals
  • Rollout new processes to ensure standardization across all markets while allowing for local innovation
  • Share market updates to leadership team
  • Create resources for team as needed
  • Oversee execution projects and initiatives
  • Attend and participate in events
  • Proactively initiate events and innovative engaging projects with the ecosystem and community
  • Work closely with Student Experience team and Coaching team to develop a mechanism of student success to graduate and be placed
  • Coach & Counselor - Ensure all job-seeking students & graduates have a smooth transition from the classroom to job seeking and that they feel supported during this process
  • Reduce anxiety for students & graduates around their job search through clear communication
  • Help students identify their personal goals to best impact their job search & educational experience
  • Track the progress of bootcamp and accelerator course graduates in terms of placements and career progress
  • Track the progress of existing employees/Freelancers/Startups. Follow up with existing graduates from previous cohorts or any cohorts under this Agreement to assess career progression, and with freelancers to monitor project acquisition. For those who will establish new startups, the placement team will track the stages of development and overall success to obtain insights into the entrepreneurial impact of GA's programs for a period of 270 days post the end of the course
  • Proactively reach out to regional and global tech companies and organizations that are actively recruiting tech talent to market GA graduates effectively
  • Build capacity to support program graduates in accessing remote job opportunities globally
  • Build capacity, relationships, training courses and processes to support graduates in becoming paid freelancers
  • Proactively develop an understanding of organizational tech skill needs in Bahrain to enable tailoring of some immersive programs to employers’ needs
  • Organize and increase the frequency of job fairs, and networking events; these functions can provide more opportunities for students to connect with employers and gain insights into various career paths
  • Job match by compiling and maintaining a database for relevant job vacancies from various employers
  • Provide career counseling and guidance services to help students and graduates assess their skills, interests, and career goals, develop resumes, improve interview skills, and provide guidance on career planning and advancement
