As Manager, Programs and Portfolios Office(PPO) you will help us administratively to manage, plan, and scale projects within the Programs and Portfolio office and across the broader organization. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a rapidly growing environment with strong focus on execution, navigating multiple stakeholders and priorities, and has an excellent understanding of formal project management methodologies, preferably including experience in using Planisware Enterprise.
Responsibilities:
Manage activities within PPO and support interactions with other Departments, as delegated by department lead
Analyze PPO department needs, identify and implement solutions, and oversee the ongoing maintenance and improvement of systems to align with organizational goals including authoring of SOPs
System administration of Planisware PPM tool, including targeted training of new users in cross-functional teams
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment and project success
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in science, business administration, or health-related field
5+ years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical / Biotech industry
Excellent understanding of formal project management methodologies, preferably experienced in using Planisware Enterprise
Engaging, empathetic and dynamic personality; ability to understand the problems of others and delight in finding solutions
Working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and the clinical development process, understanding of drug development from pre-IND through NDA
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project or equivalent and other project management tools
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate nuances and surface the interconnections
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience working in a highly matrixed organization with geographically dispersed teams
The starting base pay range for this position is $88,990.00 - $131,216.00. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location.
