Waymo

We develop autonomous driving technology called the Waymo Driver. We started as the Google self-driving car project.

Our Waymo One service offers autonomous ride-hailing in Atlanta, Austin, Los Angeles, Miami, Phoenix, and the San Francisco Bay Area. We have provided over 20 million rides, operate ²⁴⁄₇, and maintain a 93% rider satisfaction rate. Our fleet is all-electric, using vehicles like the Jaguar I-PACE.

We also conduct driving experience and testing in Baltimore, Boston, Buffalo, Minneapolis, New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Seattle, St Louis, Tampa, and Tokyo, Japan.

We partner with companies like Uber and DoorDash for ride-hailing and deliveries, and with automotive partners such as Hyundai and Jaguar. Magna helps us with technology integration. We also have partnerships for fleet management, EV charging, safety research, community engagement, sustainable energy, law enforcement training, and academic research through our Waymo Open Dataset.
