Our client is a well-established food blog with a loyal readership and a library of over 700 approachable recipes made with everyday ingredients. The site is a trusted resource for home cooks seeking simple, thoughtful, and reliable meal inspiration. They are looking for a Content & Marketing Coordinator to support day-to-day content operations including writing, content optimization, newsletter support, and social media scheduling. This role suits someone who loves writing, understands SEO basics, and is comfortable using AI tools to assist—but not replace—the creative process.

Location:

Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Scheduling & Management:

    • Schedule and manage posts across platforms, focusing strongly on Facebook.

    • Collaborate with marketing to maintain a consistent posting calendar and ensure timely content delivery.

  • Content Editing & Optimization:

    • Use AI tools to edit and optimize written and visual content for social media and SEO.

    • Support SEO efforts by applying best practices in content creation and scheduling.

  • Copywriting & Content Support:

    • Assist in crafting engaging, persuasive copy aligned with brand voice and goals.

    • Follow SOPs and processes to update posts and maintain quality and consistency.

  • Collaboration & Reporting:

    • Work closely with team members to support campaign execution and content planning.

    • Track and report on social media performance and content effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in social media management, copywriting, and Facebook marketing; familiarity with other platforms is a plus.

  • Strong passion for writing with excellent native-level English skills, both written and verbal.

  • Knowledge or genuine interest in cooking, nutrition, or wellness is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with AI content tools and SEO best practices.

  • Detail-oriented with consistent adherence to SOPs and processes.

  • Experience using Trello or similar project management tools preferred.
