Title: Media Planning Supervisor Direct Manager Title: Associate Media Director
The Role
The Media Planning Supervisor is a strategic leader within Unlock Health’s Integrated Marketing Media team. This role is responsible for guiding the development, execution, and performance of cross-channel media campaigns for healthcare clients. As the day-to-day media lead, the Supervisor ensures client satisfaction through expert-level strategic planning, team mentorship, and proactive communication.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, demonstrates strong leadership and project management skills, and has a proven track record of delivering results across both traditional and digital media.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and delivery of integrated media strategies that align with client goals and KPIs
- Serve as the primary client contact for all media-related communications and planning deliverables
- Own media planning process from strategy through billing reconciliation
- Present media recommendations, campaign updates, and performance insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Mentor and manage a team of planners and coordinators, fostering professional growth and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Client Experience, Creative, Digital, Search, and Analytics—to ensure seamless campaign execution
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with media vendors to identify value-added opportunities
- Troubleshoot issues during campaign execution and proactively implement solutions
- Contribute to internal process improvement and uphold Unlock Health’s values and standards of excellence
Ideal Qualifications
- 4+ years of media planning experience across traditional and digital channels, preferably in an agency setting
- 1+ years in a supervisory role with team management responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
- Proven success in managing integrated media campaigns from briefing to reporting
- Strong command of media tools and resources (e.g., Guideline, SQAD, Resonate, MediaRadar)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation, analytical, and time-management skills
- Strong understanding of media mix strategy, channel roles, and performance measurement
- Passion for healthcare and the evolving media landscape
