As a National Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing dynamic sales strategies that drive our company towards achieving its sales targets and objectives. This position requires you to foster robust relationships with both Regional and National framework clients, spot new business opportunities, and work closely with our field sales teams to amplify our market visibility.

This senior sales role entrusts you with the management of our commercial ties with framework authorities. Your responsibilities will encompass contract oversight, commercial pricing strategies, bidding processes, and nurturing long-lasting relationships with central framework holders as well as end-user customers. Key framework authorities include Shared Business Services (SBS), Crown Commercial Services (CCS), YPO, ESPO, Scottish Excel, and CPC.

We deliver our products and services to a diverse array of end users across various sectors, including workplaces, NHS, education, healthcare, hospitality, facilities management, and leisure.

  • Key internal relationships will include Customer Experience, Sales Operations, Marketing, Bid Management, Supply Chain, Field Operations and Finance functions

  • Design and implement effective sales strategies to achieve national sales goals and expand market share

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the national market

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to existing and potential clients

  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status and market feedback

  • Attend industry events and trade shows to promote products and services

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners across the country

  • Analyse associated market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and threats.

  • Track sales performance metrics, prepare reports and present findings

  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues ensuring they have the tools and capabilities to succeed

  • Lead negotiations with major clients to secure contracts and close deals that meet company objectives

  • Ensure revenue KPI targets are delivered for both recurring customer revenue, retention and account growth alongside ensuring business profitability thresholds and objectives are achieved.

  • Building sales pipelines, securing new framework business, price increases, upsell and cross sell activities.

  • Maximise new customer growth by identifying new Framework business customer prospects by providing water hydration solutions and services to boost top-line revenue growth and customer acquisition levels.

  • Work with Customer Experience team to maximise customer retention and growth by overseeing contractual performance.

  • The role holder must always work in an ethical, professional and compassionate way with both internal and external contacts.

  • Develop quality networks within Culligan and with customers and partners in the marketplace.

  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably at a national level with framework authorities

  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Familiar with using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.

  • Confident creating momentum, establishing a rhythm, and embracing a strategic approach to drive sales performance and management

  • Understanding of different sales channels within the wider market environment.

  • Broad business acumen with strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrable track record of customer account management customers.

  • Demonstrates experience in managing key accounts (relationship / consultative based sales).

  • Skilled in building and leveraging relationships.

  • Understands and uses good account management, communication, problem solving, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational / planning skills with ability to multi task and meet demanding deadlines effectively under pressure without supervision.

  • Full UK driving license, this role is based remotely with travel required to customers, partners and Culligan locations
