ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, is seeking a Network Engineer.

📌 Location: Athens, North Sector
📍 Working Model: Hybrid(3 days office,2 remote)
🖋️You will be reporting to: Network/ Infrastructure Team Leader
What you will do:
As a Network Engineer, you’ll monitor and manage the global Remote Management System while supporting and connecting Enterprise infrastructures for top-tier industrial clients.
More specifically:
Implement and manage Site2Site connections with our clients
Integrate and administer End2Site based VPN solutions for our clients in both isolated and centralized setups
Collaborate with the global IT teams of the Company’s Group on IPS-based firewall clusters, IDS, EPS, routing
Provide third-level support for various connectivity options
Manage the global, highly available and modular Remote Management System of the company, which integrates the OT infrastructures
Document network architecture, changes, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with the global IT teams on ERP and CRM systems
Virtualized server infrastructure
• A University Degree or Vocational diploma in IT (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in network engineering or administration roles
• Solid understanding of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT)
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar networking equipment.
• Strong experience with: iptables/nftables, Open Connect, OpenVPN, bash, nmap,tcpdump,
• Expertise with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Strong analytical thinking and autonomy in technical decision-making
• Team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills
• Very good command of English (German is a plus)
• Ability to work in a team and maintain a friendly demeanor.
Experience on any of the following will be nice to have:
• Linux-based systems and shell scripting.
• VMware, vSphere, Proxmox
• Prior Experience with Debian Linux and vpnc
• Bash, Perl, common router & switch CLIs
• Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
