Job Title: Operations Assistant β Automation & Process Optimization
Location: Remote (Open to candidates in the Philippines, India, Brazil, or South America)
Schedule: Full-Time
Reports To: Director of Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize backend tools including Shopify, ShipBob, Aftership, and Gorgias.
- Set up, maintain, and improve automations using tools such as Zapier, Make (Integromat), and AI-powered platforms.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
- Monitor system issues, troubleshoot bugs, and proactively resolve automation errors.
- Support the enhancement of SOPs and backend processes across departments.
- Assist with training and fine-tuning of AI tools (e.g., Gorgias AI) for improved customer experience and support automation.
- Explore and suggest new tools or systems that improve operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1β2+ years of experience in operations, automation, or backend support (or equivalent hands-on projects).
- Strong knowledge of automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with eCommerce tools (Shopify, ShipBob, Aftership) is a plus but not required.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate clearly about backend systems.
- Strong attention to detail and process-oriented thinking.
- Demonstrated experience via case studies or real-world projects (preferred over tenure).
- Bonus: Basic knowledge of APIs or low-code/no-code development.
