Affirm is seeking a dynamic and passionate Partner Marketing Manager to drive co-marketing initiatives in partnership with our valued merchants across North America. You will execute strategic cross-channel marketing campaigns that align with our shared marketing goals and objectives. You’ll use the Affirm marketplace as a performance marketing tool and source of valuable user acquisition for merchants.

You’ll work closely with external and internal cross-functional teams including Client Success, Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Brand and Creative, and Legal and Compliance to ideate, plan, and deliver impactful campaigns aimed at driving GMV (gross merchandise volume), awareness, new user acquisition, and increasing lifetime value. You should feel comfortable working across several different industries including home, fitness, electronics, fashion, and omnichannel retail. You’re a strategic marketer who’s eager to navigate complex challenges and are equipped to build strong, long-term relationships with marketing counterparts.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a wide range of full-funnel co-marketing campaigns across categories and marketing channels. From go-to-market plans to monthly strategy planning, this role will work with cross-functional leaders internally and externally.

  • Nurture marketing relationships with a set of merchant partners, proactively seeking innovative opportunities to optimize performance and accelerate growth.

  • Deliver creative strategies to drive affiliate revenue growth through the Affirm marketplace.

  • Provide analysis and insights to internal and external stakeholders to drive further affiliate in marketplace adoption, stronger partnerships and program optimization.

  • Serve as a merchant advocate and partner with cross-functional internal teams to drive process efficiencies and share learnings to inform future-state.

  • Manage inbound RFP requests, supporting the development of dedicated marketing plans and providing expertise for prospective partners.

  • Identify campaign targets driven by business goals focused on acquisition, engagement and loan takeup.

  • Work closely with the media agency, growth marketing and brand to develop performant media plans and engaging content.

  • Support business critical processes such as maintaining the partner marketing budget, comprehensive co-marketing calendar, compliance submissions and more.

  • Leverage industry knowledge and research to develop vertical-specific marketing strategies and plans that drive business goals.

What We Look For

  • At least 7+ years in Partner, Performance marketing, Affiliate or Product Marketing experience.

  • Experience working with partners to co-develop plans and launch marketing programs across multiple media channels.

  •  Experience with CPA, CPC, CPL, and CPM payment models.

  •  A clear understanding of affiliate tracking models, tools, and platforms.

  • Analytical thinking and data oriented. Focus on performance metrics to build high performing campaigns that deliver results.

  • Background using performance analytics to continuously optimize.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively cross-functionally.

  • Ability to influence teams and individuals as well as effectively leverage and utilize resources and relationships for optimal results.

  • Motivated self-starter always looking to share acquired knowledge with others.

  • Understanding of the paid media landscape including cross-media strategy, planning and measurement.

  • Experience writing creative briefs, testing creative and adapting based on insights.

  • Experience working with online retail, merchandising, and customer acquisition.

  • Expertise in both online and in-store retail marketing.

  • Experience marketing across North America, particularly US and Canada, preferred.

  • Experience in the home, fitness, consumer electronics, and fashion industries a plus.

Base Pay Grade- L

Equity Grade - 6

Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents).

USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $160,000 - $210,000

USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $142,000 - $192,000

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range.
