Job Description
This role is a 12 month, remote contract that has the possibility to turn into full time. The People Services Specialist is responsible for providing day-to-day People support and services to employees, managers and broader People team. This role involves handling a variety of People tasks, including responding to employee inquiries, managing People systems and records, assisting with onboarding and offboarding, and supporting various People programs and initiatives. The People Services Specialist plays a key role in ensuring a positive employee experience and maintaining the smooth operation of People processes.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Systems and Records Management: Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. Support HR TechnologyΒ administration, including data entry, reporting, and system audit/maintenance
Recruiting Coordinator Support: Scheduling Interviews, maintaining action items in Greenhouse
Background Checks: Ensure background check clearance, escalating risks to People Partners, Employee Relations and Recruiting for further consideration.
Onboarding and Offboarding: Assist with the onboarding process for new hires and interns, including coordinating onboarding and ensuring the completion of all required documentation. Manage the offboarding process, including coordination with payroll/IT.
Additional Project Support: As the Sr. Mgr of Employee Services engages on an intake process with cross-functional stakeholders, the People Services Specialists will be tasked with supporting additional people initiatives throughout the year such as performance management, internship program, immigration, etc.
Day in the life:
In this role you can expect to:
- Analyze and interpret people data to provide insights that drive HR strategy and decision-making.
- Collaborate with HR teams and business leaders to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Use data visualization tools to create reports that communicate key insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics to track workforce trends and performance indicators in One Model
Qualifications
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a Coordinator or Specialist role.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in HR related tools and systems (Workday, Greenhouse)
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Working knowledge of HR programs, procedures, and processes.
Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong customer service orientation.
