Summary
We are seeking a PHP/Laravel API Developer to join our dynamic early-stage startup, Jetpack. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated with industry trends. Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel
- Experience with RESTful API design and development
- Experience with API testing frameworks and tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger
- Strong understanding of API security and authentication standards such as OAuth and JWT
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient API solutions using PHP and Laravel
- Design and implement API integrations with third-party systems
- Develop and maintain API documentation for internal and external use
- Monitor and optimize API performance and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and product management to define API requirements and priorities
- Continuously research and learn new technologies to improve software development practices

Experience working in a startup or agile development environment is a plus
