Job Summary
The Physician Panel Coordinator is responsible for maintaining Dane Street’s physician panel, negotiating physician fees within established guidelines, and onboarding new physicians in alignment with client needs.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
Panel Maintenance
Understand client fee schedules and turnaround time (TAT) requirements to negotiate physician agreement terms.
Maintain existing physician records, including:
- Profile instructions
- Fee updates
- Doctor groups
- Activation/deactivation
- W9/remit-to information
Research and conduct outreach to expand the physician panel as needed.
Onboarding New Physicians
Perform administrative tasks related to panel maintenance and expansion.
Onboard new physicians based on client specifications.
Negotiate costs and contract terms within established guidelines.
Collect necessary documentation, including:
- Physician agreements
- Applications
- CVs
- W9 forms
- NPDB reports
Collaborate with the Director of Operations to finalize physician fees.
Provide onboarding instructions and access information for Dane Street systems.
Physician Support & Case Fulfillment
- Assist physician reviewers with case-related or technical inquiries.
- Source physicians for open service requests requiring urgent network recruitment and update daily on progress.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure network coverage aligns with specific physician specialties and client needs.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as needed based on business requirements.
Education & Credentials
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Job-Relevant Experience
- Physician recruitment experience within a healthcare or insurance setting.
- Equivalent transferable skills will be considered.
- Prior experience in a healthcare and/or insurance business environment is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Working knowledge of:
- Physician networks and recruitment
- Medical specialties and terminology
- State and federal compliance guidelines
Strong:
- Negotiation and communication skills
- Critical thinking and organizational skills
- Time management and deadline adherence
High computer literacy and typing proficiency required.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- May involve lifting, bending, and occasional travel.
- Long periods of sitting and computer work required.
Work-from-Home Requirements
- Must provide and maintain a reliable, uninterrupted internet connection.
- All work-from-home roles require stable connectivity to meet performance expectations.
