We were founded in 1993 and manufacture pharmaceuticals, specializing in treatments for underserved neurological disorders and rare diseases.

Our commercial portfolio includes FDA-approved therapies for Parkinson’s disease psychosis and Rett syndrome. These treatments target non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, which affect about half of those with the condition, and Rett Syndrome, a rare genetic neurological disorder that impacts movement, coordination, and communication.

Our pipeline includes mid- to late-stage programs for Alzheimer’s disease psychosis (which affects about 30% of Alzheimer’s patients) and Lewy body dementia psychosis. We also have early-stage programs for other patient needs.

We are headquartered in San Diego, California, and Princeton, New Jersey, with international offices in Toronto, Canada; Basel and Zug, Switzerland; and Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Some roles follow a hybrid model, requiring three days in the office each week. Other roles, like sales and regional marketing, are field-based and involve significant travel.

Employees can join our 401(k) Plan, which offers a 1:1 company match up to 5% (fully vested). We also have an Employee Stock Purchase Plan with a 2-year purchase price lock-in.

Our compensation includes a base salary, discretionary bonus, and equity awards (for new hires and ongoing).

Paid time off includes at least 15 vacation days, 10 paid sick days, and 13-15 paid holidays each year. This typically includes an office closure from December 24th to January 1st.
