Job description

Vasion is looking for a talented Pre-Sales Engineer who exemplifies our core values and wants to be part of our growing team in the EMEA region. With offices in Bath, UK, and Frankfurt, Germany, we are expanding our presence and looking for a skilled engineer to support our customers.

This is a fully remote position, and we are specifically looking for a candidate based in France, preferably in the Paris region.

Are you a technically skilled engineer with a passion for problem-solving and customer interaction? We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer EMEA to join our agile team and play a key role in customer demos, software testing, and proof-of-concept projects.

In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand their unique use cases and demonstrate how Vasion Automate Solutions can revolutionize their print management. Our cloud-native SaaS solution eliminates print servers, enabling centralized direct IP printing, automated driver deployment, and a secure print environment. You’ll also help customers integrate print with automated workflow engines, ensuring seamless scalability.

You’ll be part of a small, dynamic, and fast-moving engineering team supporting customers across diverse industries in the EMEA region. We value technical expertise, proactive communication, and a resourceful mindset—all while fostering a culture of collaboration and fun.

If you’re eager to make an impact and work with cutting-edge solutions, we’d love to hear from you!

  • Develop deep expertise in Vasion Automate Solutions to effectively support customer needs.
  • Define and validate tailored solutions based on specific customer requirements.
  • Assist the EMEA Sales Team by setting up test environments and conducting performance, reliability, scalability, and longevity testing.
  • Collaborate with the EMEA Sales Team and Solution Engineers to design migration plans for transitioning customers from on-premise infrastructure to cloud-based solutions.
  • Actively contribute as a valuable member of an agile team of Solution Engineers.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with Account Managers, Channel Partners, Customer Support, and internal teams.
  • Stay adaptable and eager to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel across the EMEA region for customer visits, events, and team meetings as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Strong IT expertise, with hands-on experience in system administration, cloud services, or infrastructure management.

  • Fundamental networking knowledge, including protocols, troubleshooting, and security best practices.

  • Proficiency in common operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS, iOS, and Android.

  • Detail-oriented mindset, with a structured approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.

  • Understanding of web stacks and technologies, including APIs, SaaS, and cloud-based architectures.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

  • Team player who collaborates effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Willingness to travel across the EMEA region for customer visits, events, and team meetings.

  • 1+ years of experience in system administration, cloud services, or infrastructure management.

  • Fluency in French (C2) is required, along with advanced English skills (C1); a third European language is highly desirable.

  • Gain experience in a fast-paced, growing company with a family-oriented work atmosphere.

  • Work in a competitive, passionate, and fun environment.

  • Compensation based on experience, skill level, and certifications.

  • Full-time, permanent position.

  • Life Insurance Plan.

  • Fully remote work with all necessary IT equipment provided.

  • Opportunity to collaborate with teams in our Frankfurt, Germany, and Bath, UK offices.
