Summary
The job is a remote or office-based Principal Product Designer position at Momentum, a digital experience design company that works with global brands, fast-paced technology startups, emerging software companies, and big tech. The role involves designing for various challenges across industries, collaborating with clients, and mentoring other designers.
Requirements
- Portfolio demonstrating your experience in software application design
- Minimum 6 years of UX, or you’re really good
- Ability to clearly express yourself both in person and on paper (or a dry-erase board if that’s your thing)
- Extremely comfortable presenting our work to clients, gathering feedback, and sharing it with other team members
- Strong grasp of HTML & CSS, design systems, and other fundamental concepts behind everything we do
- Strong experience with creating user stories, doing research, and creating user personas
- Ability to travel to customer or other work-related locations from time to time
Responsibilities
- Ensure the work produced is effective and intelligent
- Lead research and strategy, information architecture, and interaction design to create bleeding edge graphical user interfaces on multiple platforms
- Collaborate closely with clients throughout the entire lifecycle of the project
