Job description

About Atropos Health

Atropos Health is the developer of GENEVA™ OS , the operating system for rapid healthcare evidence across a robust network of real-world data. Healthcare and life science organizations work with Atropos Health to close evidence gaps from bench to bedside, improving individual patient outcomes with data-driven care, expediting research that advances the field of medicine, and more. We aim to transform healthcare with timely, relevant real-world evidence.

About the Role

As a Principal Product Manager, you will help execute our technology strategy including 0-to-1 product conceptualization, rigorous research and experimentation, and iterative development of new products in the oncology field. While we expect you to be a seasoned oncology and real-world data expert, you will interview, shadow, and collaborate with our customers and colleagues, including our medical, R&D, and customer success teams, to help identify solutions to their unique challenges.

Product Management at Atropos Health is very solutions-oriented and entrepreneurial. While building in-house products is a core competency, it is by no means a boundary–you should expect to influence processes, help develop non-technical solutions, and know when it’s appropriate to license 3rd party software to solve problems.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Roadmap - Define and drive oncology product strategy and roadmap, partnering with the engineering, data science, product, and clinical teams to gain alignment and drive development

  • Market Pulse - Be the internal compass to help us evaluate all product initiatives through the lens of answering the question “will this help our oncology customers?”

  • Outcomes-Driven Prioritization - Align priorities against company goals and customer needs, make strategic bets, creatively test hypotheses, and rigorously evaluate outcomes

  • Prototyping - Build wireframes and mockups and work with AI tools and/or an external design team to turn them into high-fidelity prototypes

  • Execution - Develop detailed development requirements. Ensure corresponding essential technical documentation is developed and maintained.

  • Continuous Discovery - Identify and lead improvements to the team’s innovation and approach, enabling us to scale our team and impact

  • Team Management - while this is designed to be a senior individual contributor role, you may eventually be required to directly manage one or more junior PMs or analysts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management or adjacent relevant experience (e.g., data scientist, business analyst, engineer), including building products from concept through commercialization

  • 3+ years working in oncology, ideally with experience in both life sciences and provider-focused solutions

  • You are experienced in real-world data and know the nuances and complexities of generating evidence with oncology data

  • You thrive working with uncertainty and ambiguity–you know how to test hypotheses quickly, drive prioritization, and execute on action plans that solve problems from top-level strategic goals down to in-the-weeds operational details

  • You’re the type of PM who will roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to make your product and team successful

  • You have a track record of leading high-performing teams and shipping successful products from genesis to launch and beyond
