Your Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and driven Product Manager to lead and enhance our Retail Request for Quote (RFQ) services and core Liquidity offerings. This role involves owning the product vision, strategy, and execution for our Retail RFQ system, a key initiative for expanding our asset range and improving the trading experience for our retail customers. You will also contribute to the broader Liquidity fleet’s mission, helping teams leverage our core services effectively.
This position sits within the Liquidity Fleet, the engine powering Bitso’s trading capabilities. You’ll ensure our retail users get seamless access to a wide array of assets while supporting the scalability and reliability of our foundational systems.As our liquidity ecosystem expands, you’ll have opportunities to shape new products and services that enhance trading experiences across our platform.
The ideal candidate possesses a very good understanding of financial markets, retail trading needs, and product management, with a proven track record in the fintech or crypto space. You thrive in a high-talent, high-performance environment and are passionate about building innovative financial products.

Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of product management experience, preferably with trading or investment products within the crypto or financial technology sector.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, trading concepts, liquidity dynamics, and the crypto industry.
- Passion for cryptocurrency, building user-centric products, and solving complex customer problems.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project completion in a fast-paced environment, with a bias for action and a focus on high-impact initiatives.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of ensuring alignment across various teams and levels of the organization.
- Sufficient technical understanding to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on system design and trade-offs, ideally familiar with concepts like tech debt, APIs, services, and distributed systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- High sense of urgency, responsibility, and the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working with agile development practices.
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable navigating uncertainty and embracing bold honesty and feedback.
What You Will Do
- Product Ownership: Take full ownership of the Retail RFQ product lifecycle, from ideation, research, and definition through launch, measurement, and iteration. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Strategy and Roadmap Development: Define, articulate, and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for Retail RFQ, aligning with Bitso’s retail growth goals, asset expansion plans, and overall Liquidity objectives.
- Fleet-Level Impact: Act as a key product voice within the Liquidity fleet, identifying opportunities for synergy and ensuring our core liquidity services effectively support all Bitso products.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct continuous user research, market research, and competitive analysis focused on retail trading needs, RFQ systems, and asset demands to identify new opportunities and ensure product-market fit. Monitor and analyze product performance using data to drive continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with Liquidity and Retail engineering teams, as well as UX/UI, Data Science, Platform, Markets, Legal, and Compliance, to design, build, and launch exceptional products.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, progress, and results to all relevant stakeholders across the organization.
