Your Purpose
We are seeking a highly driven and pragmatic Product Manager to take full ownership of the critical first impression our retail users have with Bitso: the entire onboarding experience.
This role is central to our strategy for our product by ensuring a seamless, low-friction, and secure journey for new users entering the world of digital assets. You will optimize the activation funnel for retail users across all our operating markets (Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia), driving growth and enhancing customer love from day one. You will be a key member of the Onboarding squad, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and data science to revamp and continuously improve how new users join and activate on Bitso.

Who You Are
- 3+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on user onboarding, activation, or conversion funnels, ideally within a fintech, crypto, or other high-growth tech environment.
- Demonstrated experience operating in a data-intensive environment.
- You should be comfortable extracting insights from complex datasets and using them to drive product decisions.
- Proven ability to ship products rapidly and iteratively. Experience with A/B testing and creative, low-cost validation methods is a huge plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for identifying problems, breaking them down, and finding practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You’ll be working with a diverse group of internal teams, including compliance, engineering, design, and operations.
- A proactive and ownership-driven mindset. You thrive in environments where you can identify opportunities, build a vision, and execute to see it through.
- Fluent in English(Spanish is a plus).
- Experience with financial crime controls (e.g., fraud prevention, AML, KYC) within a product context is a plus, given the inherent connection to onboarding.
What You Will Do
- Own the Retail Onboarding Product Roadmap:
- Define, prioritize, and execute the end-to-end product roadmap for the retail user onboarding journey across Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia. This includes account creation, initial funding, and first transaction flows.
- Optimize Conversion & Activation:
- Analyze user behavior data, identify friction points in the onboarding funnel, and implement solutions to increase conversion rates from sign-up to activated user (e.g., first deposit, first trade).
- Enhance User Experience:
- Champion a consistently delightful and frictionless onboarding experience for our diverse user base, making it simple, intuitive, and secure for newcomers to access Bitso’s offerings.
- Innovate & Validate Solutions:
- Discover and test new solutions and technologies to streamline user identification and reduce barriers to entry, balancing user experience with necessary controls.
- Collaborate on Financial Crime Risk:
- Work closely with specialized internal teams (e.g. fraud prevention, compliance and KYC operations) to integrate essential security measures and controls into the onboarding flow, ensuring a secure and compliant journey while minimizing impact on user friction.
- L everage Data for Insights:
- Utilize deep data analysis to identify trends, measure the impact of product changes, and uncover opportunities for optimization within the onboarding funnel. This is a data-heavy role where insights drive decisions.
- Drive Cross-Functional Alignment:
- Partner seamlessly with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Operations (KYC Ops, Payments Ops, Customer Support), and Compliance stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and effective onboarding strategy.
- Bias to Action & Iterate Rapidly:
- Embrace a fast-paced environment, making informed decisions with incomplete information and prioritizing shipping small, impactful changes quickly to test in the market and iterate.
