Job Title: Project Control Analyst II

Location: Remote

Salary Range: $32 - $45/hour

SUMMARY

Agile Defense, Inc. is seeking a full-time Project Control Analyst II to support the accounting/finance team.

The finance team manages finances, billing, and budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations. They work with stakeholders to support company goals and financial health.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Establish a business relationship with internal and external customers. Provide guidance and support to facilitate accurate and timely billing and prompt collection.

· Understand the basic contract document(s) as it relates to billing and revenue.

· Create and maintain all project/billing files.

· Ensure the proper billing formula is being utilized.

· Ensure the project set up/structure supports the billing requirements as specified in the contract (or by the client if not included in the contract).

· Create accurate invoices in Cost Point for all assigned T&M, FFP and Cost-Plus Contracts accordance with contract requirements

· Input invoices into WAWF or other contract specific submission requirements.

· Assist with preparing annual budgets.

· Assist with contract closeouts.

· Knowledge of FAR and strong experience with T&M, FFP, and CPFF contracts.

· Working knowledge of Indirect Rates and Cost Pools.

· Follow up on payment discrepancies with clients (short pays and over pays), if necessary.

· Perform monthly reconciliations of billed/unbilled vs. revenue. Research and resolve unexplained reconciling items.

· Review billable expense reports for proper coding, receipts, and compliance with the FAR and company policies.

· Develop and maintain project budget, detailed project forecasts and track to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.

· Establish and maintain Estimates at Completion for clients

· Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support.

· Prepare reports and projections based on financial data

· Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Certifications

Education, Background, and Years of Experience

· BS or BA degree in a related discipline is highly desirable (business, finance or accounting)

· 5+ years of increasingly responsible experience in government contracting to include billing and project accounting for FFP, T&M, CPFF contracts.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills

· Deltek Cost Point/Any similar accounting software

· Microsoft Excel

Preferred Skills

· Cognos Reporting

· Project Accounting

· WAWF

· Strong oral and written communication skills.

· Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with others and work independently.

· Demonstrated familiarity with the practical applications of personal computers and basic application software (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)

WORKING CONDITIONS

Environmental Conditions

· Work is primarily conducted from home, but when necessary, possible travel to headquarters 1-2 times per year.

Strength Demands

· Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
