We founded Teachable in 2014 as a software development company. Our platform helps creators, experts, entrepreneurs, and businesses build, sell, and scale educational content.

We support the creation of online courses, coaching services, memberships, and digital products in various fields such as languages, fitness, and coding.

For creators, we offer features like drag-and-drop course builders, built-in AI creation and translation tools, and automated sales and VAT tax handling. We also assist with tax filing, affiliate payouts, cross-promotional tools, coupons, flexible payment options, and global payment support. For students, Teachable offers an intuitive, mobile-friendly learning experience through features like an innovative student dashboard, iOS and Android mobile apps, drip content, quizzes, and completion certificates.

We are part of Hotmart Company. Our platform serves creators in 180 countries, has helped process over 30 million products, and seen over 100 million student enrollments. Collectively, Teachable and Hotmart creators have earned over $10 billion. The platform supports integrations with third-party applications such as Stripe, Zapier, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Zoom, and PayPal, and offers developer tools like APIs and webhooks.

We’re a remote-first company with nearly 200 team members across the U.S. and Brazil. Our team is cross-cultural and dynamic. We encourage collaboration through hackathons, company-wide learning events, and cross-team projects. While primarily remote, we organize in-person events throughout the year for team bonding, strategic alignment, and celebrations. A local office in New York City is available for occasional in-person use.

We also organize company and team outings. Compensation is competitive, with base salaries reviewed regularly based on performance and market data. For roles based in Brazil, we provide a CLT contract with full benefits.
