Summary
We are seeking a Backend Developer proficient in Django for modeling databases and creating web services. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team and requires agility, organizational skills, and enjoyment of collaborative work. The position is remote, and the candidate must have the necessary resources to perform tasks and attend virtual meetings.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Django
- Python Version 3.0
- Intermediate to advanced level management of Django
- Design API’s REST and CRUD applications
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL and databases like PostgresSQL
- General knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Knowledge of normalization and denormalization of databases
- Scrum methodology knowledge from the developer's side
- Knowledge of OOP, SOLID, and functional programming concepts
- Problem-solving skills and programming logic implementation
- Integration of APIs, libraries, SDKs from third parties
- Knowledge of Trello, Slack, or Jira
- Git knowledge
- Knowledge of software design patterns and web architectures
- Experience with JSON and RESTful APIs
- UX knowledge
Responsibilities
- Develop projects assigned from the Backend
- Report the progress of projects, dividing them by user stories and tasks
- Alert of potential project deviations
- Work according to the implemented project management system
- Submit code to the repository daily for each assigned task
- Stay connected and available to resolve doubts from the Scrum Master or Product Owner
- Attend virtual meetings and present demos according to estimated meeting times in planning meetings
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in Unit Testing, Integration Test, Acceptance Test, and Q/A
- Implement Microservices Architecture, API Gateway, etc
- Complexity of algorithms, performance, and multi-threading (not essential)
- Knowledge of deploying websites on Google Cloud Engine / Amazon or Digital Ocean
