We’re Sweed, a product-driven startup building an all-in-one cannabis retail platform. We’re on the lookout for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team remotely and help us scale and optimize our platform.

Where We Are Now

We’ve been on the market for 6 years, continuously growing and refining our product. Our focus is on earning customer trust, which means constantly improving our delivery processes and rolling out new features. At the same time, we navigate the complex legal landscape of the cannabis industry, ensuring our platform remains compliant and future-proof.

The Team

We’ve structured our staff into cross-functional teams, each dedicated to a specific product. These teams typically consist of 8-12 members, including front-end and back-end engineers, QA specialists, and analysts. Each team is guided by a Team Lead and a Product Owner, ensuring smooth collaboration and clear direction.

Right now, our total team size is around 180 people, with a distributed development team located across multiple countries. Meanwhile, our CEO, account managers, and customer success team are based in the USA, working closely with us to align product development with business and user needs.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join our Data team. This position offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in software testing and data validation, and refine our processes to maintain the high standards of quality.

As part of this role, you’ll work on a crucial reporting part of Sweed software, ensuring data is delivered across all levels of the pipeline to the analytical layer, financial metrics are calculated properly and visualized within a high-quality UI.

What to do in the project

  • To ensure feature implementation is matching requirements and business needs in collaboration within a cross-functional team.

  • Develop and execute end-to-end test scenarios for reporting features. Ensure alignment of metrics across datasets and corner cases test coverage.

  • Perform regression testing of reporting software during cross-team releases and updates

  • Support release process of team’s features.

Professional skills are important to us

  • 3+ years experience in Quality Assurance and/or Data Quality.

  • Proficiency in SQL.

  • Experience in UI manual testing.

  • Experience with Postman or similar tools.

  • Strong communication skills, ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.

  • Willing to work with Data.

Nice to have skills

  • Understanding of data quality concepts and methodologies.

  • Familiarity with ETL, ELT and DWH concepts.

  • Understanding of retail domain: major metrics and business processes.

  • Experience in projects related to reporting.

  • Experience with СlickHouse is a plus.
