Job description
Location: Remote | East Coast Time Zone Strongly Preferred
Compensation: $60,000–$70,000
About Effective School Solutions: Effective School Solutions (ESS) is a leading national provider of school-based mental health services for K-12 students. Every day, we support over 6,000 students across 120+ districts in 12 states. We bring higher acuity clinical care—typically found in private practice or private schools—into public school settings. As student mental health needs continue to rise, ESS has expanded to offer not only direct services but also consultative and professional development support for schools and districts.
About the Role: We’re seeking a Recruitment and Sourcing Coordinator who is organized, proactive, and thoughtful about helping mission-driven professionals find their home at ESS. You’ll play a vital role in helping us identify and engage exceptional clinical talent across multiple regions, while supporting a smooth and thoughtful candidate experience.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments where priorities shift, and deadlines are tight. Whether you’re posting jobs, building sourcing lists, or coordinating interviews, you bring structure, positivity, and momentum to the process. You’re looking for a role where your effort is visible, your contributions are valued, and you’re part of a team making a real difference.
If you’re looking to grow your skills in recruiting while supporting a meaningful mission, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Team You’ll Join

- Assist with initial outreach to candidates, scheduling interviews, and supporting timely, engaging communication throughout the hiring process.
- Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Maintain accurate candidate data within our ATS (Greenhouse) and sourcing tools.
- Lead the execution of recruiting campaigns (e.g., job fairs, hiring pushes, social media blasts).
- Post and update job listings across key platforms, as needed.
Recruiting Operations & Projects
- Track and report on sourcing and pipeline metrics to identify opportunities to improve outreach.
- Use Excel or Google Sheets to organize candidate pipelines, analyze trends, and generate basic reports.
- Help refine sourcing strategies and test new tools or platforms.
- Collaborate with the broader People Team on recruitment-related projects and process improvements.
- Uphold ESS’s commitment to equity and inclusion by supporting strategies to attract diverse talent.
About You
- You bring 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or HR coordination, preferably in healthcare, education, or mission-driven settings.
- You’re highly organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple priorities with clear communication and follow-through.
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly and efficiently without sacrificing attention to detail or candidate experience.
- A hard-working team player who takes initiative and follows through on commitments.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets - comfortable organizing data, building trackers, and generating insights to inform recruiting strategies.
- You’re comfortable using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and an ATS (we use Greenhouse).
- You’re a clear and engaging communicator who builds rapport quickly and represents your team with professionalism.
- You’re motivated by mission-driven work and excited to help grow a team of mental health professionals making a difference every day.
