Job description

Access Softek is looking for a Principal Software Development Engineer passionate about building services for a first-class award-winning online banking solution using C# .NET Core, Typescript, ReactJS and AWS cloud infrastructure. You will handle complex tasks, work closely with team members and external stakeholders to identify optimal business solutions, lead feature development and delivery processes. Your position also requires the ability to analyze and propose solutions, coordinate across teams to resolve evolving problems, being role-model in writing clean code following best practices.

This is an opportunity for candidates to learn a lot about FinTech, banking and cloud architecture (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) being involved in the collaboration with implementation and product teams and getting frequent feedback from customers (400+ Financial Institutions).

Approximate Working hours:

2am-10am PDT/PST timezone But suitable insignificant offset in both directions.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software applications using C# and .NET technologies.
  • Own expertise in the code base and functionality of the back-end.
  • Play active role in re-designing and splitting monolithic solution into micro-services using best practices of software design.
  • Investigate problems, provide expertise and ideas for improvements and fixes, and implement those together with teammates.
  • Be an effective communicator able to lead technical discussions involving across multiple teams and stakeholders, and finalize decisions.
  • Enable sufficient test coverage in the components.
  • Leverage the best development tools to increase developers efficiency and productivity.
  • Produce documentation for internal and external API consumers.

What We Expect

  • 5+ years of development experience in web applications and/or backend APIs using С#.
  • Strong knowledge in Objected Oriented Design principles, experience applying classic design and structure patterns (GoF).
  • Experience in the project with micro-services.
  • Strong problem solving abilities, system thinking.
  • Strong experience with data modeling, MS SQL Server and data access layer optimizations.
  • Experience in writing unit and integration tests (using NUnit, xUnit frameworks and FluentAssertions, Moq libraries).
  • Expertise with DevOps practices and tools, practical experience with Git.
  • Tech lead experience with complex projects, like expertise in refactoring legacy codebases, optimizing process flows, and analyzing and implementing architectural decisions.
  • Great communication skills, experience in leading technical discussions.
  • Eager to learn and build up new skills.
  • Intermediate+ English.
