We are a team of tech enthusiasts pushing the boundaries of innovation, and we’re looking for an experienced Principal Engineering Manager to lead our Intelligent Integrations team.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will lead our team of strong software engineers responsible for building and maintaining integrations that allow Hyperproof users to connect to cloud services such as Google Drive, Jira, Salesforce, AWS, Datadog, and more. The team owns our “ingest and test” mission, providing our customers with the integrations and supporting platform features that allow customers to import files & data from all the services they use and test them against compliance requirements. AI has the potential to accelerate & transform this mission so this role requires fluency with AI technologies
Reporting directly to the SVP of Engineering, you will work closely with our product, documentation, and support teams to help plan and deliver on our roadmap & priorities. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will influence design, quality, process & teamwork across the whole of engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative culture of excellence.
- Oversee the design, delivery, and maintenance of integrations and supporting platform features with a focus on high throughput, quality, and predictability.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of integration & platform features, with robust monitoring and alerting systems to detect and resolve issues proactively.
- Own the technical direction of integrations, balancing long-term strategy with immediate needs & leading investigation & architecture for AI capabilities.
- Lead by example in setting engineering best practices, including dev design, designing for quality, code reviews, effective testing, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with product management & design to define and execute on integration and feature roadmap priorities, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
- Work cross-functionally with our product, support, and documentation and executive teams to communicate status, progress, and technical direction.
Lead and support cross-engineering initiatives, driving our team & technology forward.

Location This is a remote position but does require periodic travel to Bellevue, WA, a city in the greater Seattle region. You can expect to travel to Bellevue 6-8 times per year as part of leadership & feature on-sites. We love working remotely but we find that challenging problems are best solved in person so you’d have to be willing to meet up in person for these events.

The full compensation package is based on candidate experience and certifications.
