About Pavago:
Pavago is looking for a driven and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to spearhead outbound prospecting and appointment setting for our client’s growing business. In this role, you’ll focus on generating and qualifying leads, booking high-quality meetings, and supporting the sales team in building a strong pipeline. If you have a background booking appointments (especially for marketing agencies), you’ll thrive here.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and research potential prospects through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels.
- Appointment Setting: Book qualified meetings and appointments for the sales team, ensuring prospects meet the defined criteria for target industries and markets.
- Qualification: Conduct initial discovery to understand prospects’ needs, pain points, and potential fit before handoff to the account executive or closer.
- Outreach Strategy: Follow structured outreach cadences and messaging tailored to specific industries.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of activities, prospect interactions, and pipeline progress in the CRM.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales leadership to align outreach efforts with campaign goals and market focus.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and the client’s offerings to have informed conversations with prospects.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience: 2–3 years in an SDR, appointment setter, or lead generation role, in a B2B environment.
- Industry Focus: Background in booking appointments for marketing agencies or targeting restaurants, bars, hotels, or orthodontists is highly preferred.
- Lead Gen Tools: Proficiency with tools like Apollo, plus CRM systems for managing and tracking outreach.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and communicate value clearly.
- Results-Oriented: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding outbound activity and appointment-setting targets.
- Process-Driven: Comfortable following established workflows, while also suggesting improvements for efficiency and results.
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated to work independently in a remote environment, with strong time management skills.
What Makes You a Perfect Fit:
- Skilled in high-volume outbound outreach with persistence and professionalism.
- Experienced in qualifying leads and identifying decision-makers.
- Comfortable adapting scripts and messaging to different industries and buyer personas.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools.
- Positive, energetic, and able to handle rejection while staying focused on results.
What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
Start your day reviewing your outreach plan, preparing your call list, and sending your first batch of targeted emails. Spend the morning on cold calls and LinkedIn outreach, focusing on booking qualified meetings. After lunch, follow up with prospects who have shown interest, update CRM records, and prepare notes for the sales team. Wrap up the day by tracking your metrics in Apollo and planning your next day’s activities.
Interview Process
- Initial Phone Call: Engage in a brief conversation to understand your experience and suitability for the role.
- Video Interview: Dive deeper into your professional background and assess your skills in a 30-minute call.
- Final Client Interview: Have a comprehensive discussion with our client to ensure mutual alignment.
- Background Checks: Conduct swift verification of your references and past employment details.
