We’re looking for an Agile Team Lead / Scrum Master to guide and empower 1 or multiple high-performing product development teams, ensuring exceptional client delight through robust agile practices and sustained product development excellence. You’ll play a crucial role in driving excellence within product delivery.

As an Agile Lead / Scrum Master, you will have direct oversight for client satisfaction and delivery within your team(s). You’ll build confidence with both clients and product teams in our ability to deliver exceptional products, obsessing over the business outcomes your client is seeking to achieve and aligning your team to achieve those outcomes. You are accountable for the agile health and governance of your teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scrum & Agile Facilitation:
  • Serve as the primary Scrum Master for threewo dedicated client software development teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) effectively and efficiently.
  • Coach and mentor development teams, Product Managers, and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, self-organization, and accountability within the teams.
  • Help teams identify and resolve impediments to maximize productivity and delivery.
  • Ensure proper use of Agile tools (Jira) for backlog management, sprint tracking, releasing, dependencies and reporting.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for client stakeholders regarding team progress, challenges, and agile processes.
  • Manage client expectations regarding team capacity, scope changes, and delivery timelines.
  • Facilitate effective communication channels between client product managers, business stakeholders, and development teams.
  • Actively participate in agile facilitators group, share knowledge and collaborate on company level activities
  • Team Performance & Health:
  • Monitor and report on team performance metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown, lead time) to clients leadership.
  • Conduct regular health checks and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement in team dynamics, processes, and tools.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing within and across teams.
  • Help teams self-organize and make decisions collectively.
  • Impediment Resolution & Risk Management:
  • Actively identify, track, and remove impediments that hinder team progress, escalating when necessary.
  • Anticipate and manage risks, developing contingency plans in collaboration with the teams and clients.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution within the teams and between teams and stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, encouraging experimentation and adaptation of agile practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master in a software development environment.
  • Proven experience successfully leading and coaching multiple (2+) software development teams simultaneously.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a client-facing capacity, managing stakeholder expectations and relationships.
  • Solid understanding of Agile principles and various frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Additional Experience Desired:

  • Experience in a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with different development methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, hybrid models).
  • Experience with geographically distributed teams.
  • Technical background or understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
