About the Role

Abnormal AI is looking for a Security Contracts Analyst to join the Security & Privacy team. The Security & Privacy team owns the information and cybersecurity program for the company, including Security Operations, GRC, Privacy, and Customer Trust. This role reports to the Director of GRC, Customer Trust, and Privacy.

As a Contract Analyst (Contractor) within Abnormal AI’s Customer Trust team, you will play a critical role in supporting our growing customer and prospect contractual needs. You will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and managing a variety of contracts, ensuring compliance with internal policies, information security, privacy, and AI practices, and relevant regulations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual with a strong understanding of contract terms and the ability to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced cybersecurity environment.

What you will do

Security Contracts

  • Contract Review and Analysis: Thoroughly review and analyze various types of contracts, including but not limited to customer and prospect agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and standard legal templates such as MCA, DPA, and Privacy Notice, ensuring they align with Abnormal Security’s legal, security, and business requirements.
  • Risk Identification: Identify potential risks and liabilities within contract terms and escalate concerns to the appropriate stakeholders (Legal, Security, Finance, etc.).
  • Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring contract compliance with legal requirements.
  • Contract Management Support: Support the GRC team with the organization and maintenance of our contract management system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records and partnering with Legal Operations to integrate systems where possible.
  • Data Entry and Tracking: Accurately input and track key contract information, including terms, obligations, and expiration dates.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Assist in the preparation of contract-related reports and maintain organized documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Legal, Procurement, Security) to facilitate the contract lifecycle and address any contract-related inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and improvement of contract review and management processes.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Participate in other GRC-related projects as needed.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
  • Foundational understanding of technical concepts related to security, privacy, and AI.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in a contract review, paralegal, or legal support role, preferably within a technology or SaaS company.
  • Strong understanding of basic contract principles and terminology.
  • Excellent attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify and analyze potential risks within contractual agreements.
  • Proficiency in using contract management software or similar tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with security and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2) is a plus.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Greenhouse (our ATS) and Confluence.
  • Experience working with international contracts.

Base salary range:

$136,000—$160,000 USD
