Job description
This fully remote position will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and support accounting compliance requirements under GAAP, SOX and all other authoritative guidance published by FASB, AICPA, SEC and the PCAOB, and provide direct External Audit interface.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial reporting, variance analysis, monitoring integrity of system-generated calculations, and working with budget owners and other partners to provide business solutions that comply with accounting guidelines and meet goals.
- Calculate and submit journal entries for approval.
- Lead the evaluation and resolution of complex accounting matters, including revenue recognition, software development, and leases, by researching guidance and preparing position papers.
- Guide the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process changes and system changes
- Support monitoring and validation efforts for internal controls.
- Provide hands-on support for varying projects.
- Directly assist with financial statement and footnote preparation, and serve in a lead role for external financial statement audits and external audits of internal controls over financial reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
- CPA
- 3+ years prior work experience in an accounting position
- Big 4 Experience
- Healthcare experience
- Comfort balancing priorities across multiple projects.
- Experience building strong, trusting relationships across teams.
- Advanced Excel skills, Google Suite, Workday
- AI Experience
Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
- Capability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
- Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
- Capability to work with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.
The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
Zone A: $63,670-82,770 + equity + benefits
Zone B: $70,037-91,047 + equity + benefits
Zone C: $76,404-99,324 + equity + benefits
Zone D: $82,771-107,601 + equity + benefits

Starting base salary for you will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include education; training; skills; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; our needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and understanding of geographic and market data.
