Job description
We’re looking for an Accounting Manager, Revenue to join our growing Accounting team. Reporting directly to the Senior Accounting Manager, Revenue, you’ll help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our revenue accounting. This remote position offers a significant opportunity to contribute to a scalable and efficient revenue function while mitigating risk.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain revenue accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end close related to healthcare revenue including, contractual allowances, patient bad debt and unbilled revenue.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and the application of revenue guidance in recognizing revenue for arrangements with customers.
- Help prepare GAAP footnote disclosures related to revenue
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition
- Support external audit requests and inquiries, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Prepare and analyze revenue reports, investigating variances from forecast.
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing operational processes through automation, integration, and use of technology, including Artificial Intelligence.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members on revenue-related matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of progressive experience revenue recognition principles
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience mentoring and managing a team.
- Ability to present complex accounting information
- Experience driving process improvements
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trends and discrepancies
- Experience with Workday, Revenue Cycle Management software, Looker, Microsoft Suite/GSuite
Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
- Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment.
- Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
- No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.
- Ability to interact with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.
- Travel, as needed.
The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
Zone A: $108,890 - 141,560 + bonus + equity + benefits
Zone B: $119,779 - 155,716 + bonus + equity + benefits
Zone C: 130,668 - 169,872 + bonus + equity + benefits
Zone D: 141,557 - 184,028 + bonus + equity + benefits

Starting base salary for you will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include education; training; skills; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; our needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and understanding of geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone’s unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and great compensation package based on their roles and locations.
