About the Role
We’re seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Analyst to lead underwriting, financial modeling, and investment analysis for acquisition and development projects. You’ll work closely with the Founder to source deals, build multi‑scenario models, and support capital‑raising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Acquisition Underwriting: Develop and maintain detailed financial models (multi‑scenario, dynamic, investor‑facing); underwrite acquisition, renovation, lease‑up, and disposition strategies; run DSCR, IRR, equity multiple, sensitivity, and breakeven analyses.
- Market Research & Comps: Research submarket trends, comparable rents/sales, demographics, and policy factors; synthesize findings into memos and deal packages.
- Due Diligence & Transaction Support: Assist with LOIs, PSAs, and closings through underwriting, document review, and data analysis; coordinate with brokers, lenders, attorneys, and consultants; review environmental, title, and zoning reports.
- Capital Raising Support: Help prepare pitch decks, data rooms, and investor memos; respond to investor queries on underwriting assumptions; maintain databases of historical and pipeline deal metrics.
5–7+ years in real estate finance (development, acquisitions, underwriting, or private equity)
Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets
Proven track record underwriting value‑add, adaptive reuse, or infill housing projects
Deep understanding of capital stacks, waterfalls, IRR modeling, and debt scenarios
Ability to interpret deal docs, leases, zoning reports, and lender term sheets
Strong written and verbal communication
Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, fast‑paced environment
Alignment with mission‑driven, affordable‑housing development
Performance‑based bonuses tied to deals closed or capital raised
Potential equity participation in promote structures or co‑investment
Fully remote with required Pacific/Mountain Time overlap
Direct mentorship from Founder and leadership exposure
