WHAT YOU’LL DO
This Business Operations Manager will play a critical role in supporting and driving Braze’s global expansion efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for driving results in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the global expansion strategy, taking strategic projects from conception through to execution and impact.
- Lead strategic planning, including supporting market research, analyzing past and potential expansions, and developing investment plans for hiring and scaling.
Drive go-to-market strategies by aligning teams across pricing, packaging, and partnerships to develop launch plans and optimize market entry.
- Support legal and regulatory alignment for new markets, ensuring compliance with data residency and other requirements.
- Provide market entry support by guiding operational setup and equipping ground teams with the necessary tools and insights for success through effective localization and enablement strategies.
- Collaborate with talent acquisition to support regional hiring, transfers, and onboarding processes.
- Drive operational readiness for office launches and facilitate smooth transitions to business-as-usual operations.
- Ensure key stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the expansion process, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide end-to-end project management for global expansion initiatives, including stakeholder management, setting and monitoring of project milestones, data collection, and final delivery.
- Hold stakeholders accountable to processes and procedures while keeping documentation updated.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the organization, and focus on achieving results quickly and efficiently.
WHO YOU ARE
- Proactive and autonomous: Take meaningful responsibility and initiative for shaping and executing our strategy with limited oversight.
- Structured in thinking and approach: Develop and leverage frameworks to help structure the team’s thinking, facilitate alignment across various stakeholders, and identify 80⁄20 opportunities to reach insightful, actionable answers without analysis overload.
- An expert at prioritization: Experience (and an enjoyment of!) balancing numerous priorities and demands.
- Team-oriented: Energized by teamwork and skilled in cross-functional collaboration.
- High-energy with a positive attitude: Motivated to work hard and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Operations, program management or project management experience in SaaS highly preferred.
- Experience with global expansion strategies is a plus.
