About Snowplow
Snowplow, the global leader in customer data infrastructure (CDI), enables every organisation to own and unlock the value of its customer behavioural data.
The Snowplow CDI fuels AI-driven marketing, digital products and services, customer experiences, and fraud detection by enabling companies like Burberry, Strava, and AutoTrader to collect and manage real-time, structured, and unstructured behavioural data governed in their cloud data platform.
With thousands of companies relying on Snowplow worldwide to generate high-velocity data to uncover deeper customer journey insights, predict customer behaviours, optimise differentiated customer experiences, and detect fraud; we are at the forefront of transforming how data-driven organisations leverage their customer behavioural data.
Following our $40 million Series B funding led by global venture capital firm NEA, known for investments in Databricks, MongoDB, and Elastic, we are seeking creative and innovative individuals to help us shape the future of Snowplow.
The Opportunity
At Snowplow, we need a Senior Data Analyst who will be the key connection between our internal data platform and our business stakeholders across the Go to Market, Product, Finance, and Customer teams. In this role, you will be responsible for surfacing actionable insights from our data and then collaborating closely with stakeholders to help them solve problems and achieve their goals. The ultimate measure of success is helping Snowplow to meet its ambitious growth targets.
This role sits within a small, high-performing Data Team, offering lots of autonomy and a chance to make a visible impact. If you enjoy working in an environment that combines structure and clear goals with a relaxed, collegial atmosphere, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to experiment, innovate, and shape the next wave of our data insights.
What you’ll be doing
● Support high-impact decisions by collaborating with business stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Finance, RevOps, and more) to understand their needs and deliver the insights they require.
● Build and maintain data models in our Snowflake data warehouse using dbt, including reviewing and refining the work of others to ensure accuracy and alignment with best practices.
● Create reports and analyses and present findings through visualizations in Preset (our BI tool), in Salesforce, or through detailed deep dives (Notion).
● Drive enablement by running training sessions and workshops to help teams across the company use data more effectively.
Improve existing workflows and processes, regularly reviewing the Data Team’s solutions to optimize efficiency and data quality.
● Stay agile in a dynamic environment—each week can include new project requests, stakeholder meetings, and fast-paced changes in priorities.
● Foster collaboration within the Data Team (alongside our Head of Data and Staff Data Engineer) and with wider business functions to ensure data-driven growth and success.
What you bring to the team
● Proven experience in an analyst or data scientist role (or a similarly relevant position).
● Proven expertise in SQL and data modeling with dbt, plus experience building and optimizing data pipelines.
● Hands-on experience with a visualization or BI tool (e.g., Preset/Apache Superset, Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
● Familiarity with Salesforce (especially working with contacts and accounts and setting up reports and dashboards) or willingness to learn—it’s a critical tool for our Go to Market teams.
● Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex data concepts to stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
● A self-driven, disciplined approach to remote work: you thrive on autonomy and are motivated by making a tangible impact.
● No specific formal education requirement—practical experience and proven results are what matter most.
● Experience in SaaS or a similarly fast-growth environment is preferred but not essential
● Bonus points for any exposure to R or Python for additional analysis capabilities.
● A collaborative mindset—you are comfortable enabling colleagues, reviewing code, and supporting others in a small but high-performing team.
What We Offer You in Return:
💰 A competitive package, including share options
🧘 Flexible working
🏖 A generous holiday allowance no matter where you are in the world
💻 MacBook and home office equipment allowance
👪 Enhanced maternity, paternity, shared parental and adoption leave
Snowplow is dedicated to building and supporting a brilliant, diverse and hugely inclusive team. We don’t discriminate against gender, race, religion or belief, disability, age, marital status or sexual orientation. Whatever your background may be, we welcome anyone with talent, drive and emotional intelligence.
