Contract role with inside IR 35
Location: UK (Fully Remote)
Platform BTP, Gardner, IAS Development Engineer
路 University degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
路 6+ years of technical professional experience
路 In-depth knowledge of hyperscalers like AWS required
路 Expertise in SAP Converged Cloud (Open Stack) is a major plus
路 Understanding of deployment automation and the tools e.g. Ansible, Chef
路 Experience with Infrastructure as Code - Terraform preferred
路 Experience with CI/CD pipelines e.g. ArgoCD (preferred), GitLab CI/CD (preferred), Jenkins
路 Experience with Monitoring e.g. Dynatrace, CloudWatch
路 Experience with Logging e.g. Splunk (preferred), Elasticsearch, Logstash
路 Experience with Cloud Networking tools e.g. AWS VPCs (preferred), VNet, Google VPC
路 In-depth experience in technologies used for deploying and managing Cloud-native applications:
o Container Orchestration tools e.g. Gardener (preferred), Kubernetes, Docker
o Helm charts
o Repository management e.g. Artifactory (preferred), JFrog (preferred)
o Service management tools e.g. Consul (preferred), Zookeeper
路 Familiarity with GitLab and/or GitHub
路 Scripting background e.g. PowerShell, Python (preferred)
路 Security best practices including hardened containers and images (STIG)
路 Experience with Security tools e.g. Hashicorp Vault (preferred), GitHub Secrets
路 Database knowledge like SAP HANA
路 Expertise with OS e.g. Linux, RHEL
路 Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
路 Knowledge of SAP and the SAP solution portfolio is a plus
