Summary

The job is for a Senior DevOps Engineer focusing on cloud infrastructure in the US. The role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting cloud infrastructure, working with development teams to build, test, and deploy changes to software platforms. The ideal candidate should have experience with AWS, Terraform, CloudFormation, Resource Manager, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes, and basic networking principles.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering Infrastructure as Code and automation/orchestration of OS and applications
  • Automation experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Resource Manager, Ansible, Puppet, Chef or similar
  • Ability to write Terraform modules and plans independently
  • Familiarity with container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, etc.)
  • Experience with basic networking principles and technologies
  • Experience with configuration management. Specifically Ansible, but other tools such as Puppet and Chef are also applicable
  • Strong troubleshooting skills - you're comfortable diving into the logs to debug and resolve issues, especially across services

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with integrating infrastructure as a result of acquisitions and mergers
  • Azure and/or GCP experience
