Requirements
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in modern infrastructure, automation, and cloud-native technologies. This role will focus on enabling scalable deployments, managing infrastructure, and improving the reliability of our systems. Participation in an on-call rotation is required as part of ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency with AWS and container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker. Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevOps best practices.
- Infrastructure Management:
Proven experience designing and maintaining infrastructure for large-scale distributed systems and microservices architectures. Familiarity with backend technologies like Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar. SQL knowledge is required for database-related operations.
- Automation Skills:
Hands-on experience with Terraform and Helm for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. Exposure to GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux is a plus. Scripting proficiency in Python or Bash is essential for automation tasks.
- CI/CD:
Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD. Familiarity with GitHub Actions or Bitbucket Pipelines is a bonus.
- Database Operations:
Practical knowledge of managing relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and basic familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Monitoring & Infrastructure Tools:
Experience with monitoring and logging stacks such as ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools.
- Additional Knowledge:
Familiarity with Redis (caching) and RabbitMQ (messaging) is beneficial.
- On-call Rotation:
This role includes participation in an on-call rotation, supporting incident response and ensuring system availability.
