Definitive Healthcare (DH) is currently hiring a talented and experienced Enterprise Apps Administrator to join our small but mighty Enterprise Applications team to ensure the optimal functioning, maintenance, and development of our Salesforce CRM platform and other Sales Support Applications for our publicly traded business. As a Sr. Enterprise Apps Administrator, you will report to the AVP of Enterprise Applications within the IT Organization and be responsible for leading the maintenance and new development of the Salesforce org, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and work with our developers to implement enhancements to meet the evolving needs of the company. This role requires a deep understanding of Cloud Application & Salesforce.com administration, SDLC process, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
What you’ll do:
Lead the maintenance and configuration of Salesforce org, managed packages, and integrated apps, ensuring data integrity, security, and system performance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders (Sales Ops, Customer Success, etc) to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions according to scheduled releases.
Design, develop, and implement enhancements and customizations using Salesforce declarative tools, such as Workflow Rules, Process Builder, and Lightning App Builder, and 3rd party tools such as RingLead, Data Loader, OwnBackup, etc.
Create and maintain flows, custom objects and settings, fields, formulas, validation rules, and page layouts to support business processes.
Work with Sales and Data Operations to conduct regular data analysis and cleansing to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
Act as a subject matter expert on Salesforce and best practices and provide end-user training and support to maximize user adoption and satisfaction; including maintenance and development of Salesforce User and Technical Documentation.
Stay up-to-date with Salesforce and releases and new features, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage them for process improvements while complying with best practices within the managed package to enable scalability and intake of new functionality.
Working closely with the IT Security team, maintain security standards across data in all systems to ensure confidentiality and appropriate role access
Manage all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups and sharing settings to ensure proper data access and security
Support/Administer other Sales/GTM applications such as SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Seismic, Churn Zero and Gong and their integrations to Salesforce and each other
Adhere to SDLC process and best practices in line with our SOX & SOC2 Reporting Requirements.
What you’ll need:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably with SaaS companies.
A Salesforce Administrator certification is required (ADM 101 required; ADM 201, and CPQ recommended).
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including configuration, customization, and integration.
Proficient in declarative tools, such as Workflow Rules, Flow, and Lightning App Builder.
Experience administering and integrating with other Sales/GTM applications such as SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Seismic, Churn Zero, Gong, etc.
Solid understanding of data management best practices, including data modeling, data cleansing, and data security.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret business requirements.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
