We are excited to establish a Registry Operations Center in India to serve the newly awarded NIXI .IN TSP (Technical Service Provider) contract. This center will also support our growing presence in ccTLDs, gTLDs, and dotBrand operations globally.

About the Opportunity
Tucows is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the accounting operations of Tucows Domains, with a focus on Tucows Registry Services. This hands-on role is critical to the success of our month-end close process, including account reconciliations, revenue recognition, and cross-functional collaboration with customer service and engineering teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly proactive, and comfortable operating independently in a dynamic environment.
This role may also contribute to special projects across the broader Tucows organization.
Key Responsibilities
- 35% – Provide daily accounting support for key domain operations, with a focus on Tucows Registry Services.
- 35% – Lead month-end close activities, including AR reconciliations, revenue accruals, and bank reconciliations.
- 10% – Manage cash management and treasury functions.
- 10% – Establish trial balances and AR ledgers for newly acquired entities.
- 5% – Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service on billing-related inquiries.
- 5% – Support external audits, including quarterly reviews and year-end deliverables.
Knowledge and Qualifications
- Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA preferred) with post-designation experience.
- 3+ years of accounting and financial analysis experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial processes.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-company, multi-currency environment.
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word; experience with Intacct and/or dimension-based GLs is a strong asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate across departments and organizational levels.
- A collaborative, high-energy team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive mindset.
The base salary range for this position is $89,910 to $99,900. Range shown in $CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications.
