Summary
Nexus Mutual is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to build intuitive user interfaces for their on-chain risk marketplace in the DeFi space. The ideal candidate has experience with React.js, NextJS, and web3 technologies, is user-oriented, passionate about building scalable applications, and curious about DeFi and Crypto.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience on frontend development and JS based frameworks
- Proficient with React, Redux, CSS and HTML
- Understanding of API frameworks, plus experience with fetching and displaying dynamic data
- Understanding of modern, client-side, architecture
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Nexus Mutual applications
- Integrate with smart contracts to fetch data around covers, claims, and staking and allow users to interact with the contracts via on-chain transactions
- Continuously adapt the design framework based on research and user needs to improve usability
- Keep up with smart contract changes, review contributions, and components developed by the ecosystem and design partners
- Debug and fix user-reported issues
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with web3 stack
- Being self-motivated and eager to keep up with the fast paced and agile team
- Being obsessed with clean code and engineering best practices
