Nexus Mutual is seeking a Smart Contract Engineer to build their premier on-chain risk marketplace for DeFi and CeFi. The ideal candidate has experience with Solidity, Web3 technologies, and backend engineering. The team is fully remote and offers a competitive salary plus token allocation.

Requirements

  • 1 year of Solidity development experience
  • Experience with some of our tech stack, like Hardhat, Node.js, Typescript, Ethers.JS, Node.JS, IPFS
  • Understanding of The Graph, Oracles, and the broader web3 tech stack
  • Knowledge of common smart contract development design patterns, industry standards (ERCs and EIPs), and best practices
  • Over 3 years of backend engineering and proficiency in languages like C++, Python, JavaScript, Typescript, C# or Core Java

Responsibilities

  • Write and deploy complex smart contract logic
  • Work alongside the team on designing and implementing product functionalities
  • Assure blockchain and web-client integration
  • Containerization of backend services

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise or interest in tokenomics, game theory, L2s, and DeFi protocols
  • Understanding of layer 2 protocols, bridges and blockchain interoperability
