Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
Good Party is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer based in the U.S. to join us in our mission of making people matter more than money in our democracy.

GoodParty.org is on a mission to make people matter more than money in our democracy by empowering independent candidates to run, win, and serve. Our AI-powered platform provides free tools to independent candidates to run their campaigns, connect with voters, and serve their communities effectively.
A majority of eligible voters, including more than half of Millennials and Gen Z, say that neither Republicans nor Democrats represent them. GoodParty.org is the solution. With 3,444 independent candidate wins across 48 states last year, these elected officials come from across the ideological spectrum. They prioritize people over parties and community over corporate interests. In 2024, 40.3 million voters (26% of all voters) cast a ballot for our candidates. We’re not a political party; we’re a platform and a movement.
Founded by serial entrepreneur Farhad Mohit ($1B+ in exits, including Flipagram/TikTok and Shopzilla), GoodParty.org is building solutions so we can have a truly representative democracy where society’s biggest problems are solved.
What you’ll do:
Build intuitive, inclusive, and accessible tools that function seamlessly across desktop and mobile web and will empower candidates, volunteers, and creators to take effective action.
Turn product requirements and designs into high-quality working software for candidates on our web-based platform.
Build out AI and LLM use cases and utilize best practices in AI into our product to help candidates get elected, as well as opportunistic projects to spread our message and movement
Identify and maintain pixel-perfect site-wide design standards.
Collaborate with our lean, agile team using CI/CD and Kanban methodologies.
Work directly with product, design, and QA on your projects.
Report to the CTO.
Who we’re looking for:
You’re up for the audacious challenge of re-coding our democracy for Good.
You have a Computer Science Degree with strong JavaScript skills, experience with React.js, knowledge of API best practices, and excellent CSS/SCSS skills with the ability to create accurate, responsive designs.
You’re a proven A-player with 8+ years of relevant full-time work experience, ideally within a fast-paced 0 to 1 environment.
You’re actively interested in using AI, LLMs, and automation of tasks through AI and have done previous work or personal projects in this area
You have experience building design systems using component architecture.
You have advanced technical and analytical skills to diagnose, isolate, and resolve problems.
You have strong communication skills and work well with others.
You’re able to work independently and collaborate with others when needed to iteratively solve problems in real-time. Our solution is desperately needed and the issues of our time are all bottlenecked by our corrupted democracy.
Bonus if:
You have experience with AWS, TypeScript and Next.js
You have experience studying, working, or volunteering in politics, political activism, or democracy reform

The salary range is $130,000 - $160,000 for this remote, full-time position with excellent benefits. The top end of the range will extend to $200,000 for candidates who can demonstrate exceptional expertise as an AI-first, cutting-edge engineer. Title will also be commensurate with experience.
This range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, seniority, education, qualifications, certifications, and organizational needs. We reserve the right to modify this pay range at any time.
