We started Doppler in 2018 to create a security platform for developers. Our cloud-based secrets management platform helps teams secure, sync, and automate their secrets across all environments and infrastructure. We enable teams to manage, orchestrate, and govern secrets and non-human identities at scale.
Our platform integrates with many DevOps and CI/CD tools, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, to create secure workflows and boost developer productivity. It features Git-style activity logs with rollback support, secrets referencing, and webhooks for secret changes. We also automate API workflows and offer webhooks and SDKs.
We are SOC 2 and ISO compliant. Over 47,000 organizations, from startups to large enterprises, use our services. We process more than 30 billion secrets monthly and have maintained a 99.99% historical annual uptime. Our expertise includes DevOps, Kubernetes, secrets management, software engineering, secret rotation, compliance, security, DevSecOps, API keys, and configuration management.

Our mission is to secure the world’s secrets. Our founder, Brian Vallelunga, started Doppler in 2018 after struggling to manage secrets for a personal project. He found existing tools too cumbersome. His goal was to build a secrets management platform that developers, DevOps, and security teams would actually want to use, believing that better developer productivity would naturally lead to better security.
